SUMMARY:Workshop / Seminar:Nature Poetry Walk
DESCRIPTION:On this nature poetry walk\, writer\, visual artist\, and Anthropology graduate student Caroline Harper New will lead participants on a walk through U-M’s Nichols Arboretum to connect with nature through poetry. This writing workshop will involve meditative writing exercises inspired by nature poetry of the past\, botanical knowledge of the present\, and mindfulness practices. We'll meet at Peony Gardens entrance\, 1601 Washington Heights Ave. Wear walking shoes.
