Featuring bassoonists Rachael Elliott\, Michael Harley\, Lynn Hileman\, Jeffrey Lyman with Liz Ames\, piano.\n\nMusic by Hans Eric Apostel\, Chiel Meijering\, Tawnie Olson\, Isang Yun\, Sofia Gubaidulina\, Elliott Carter\, and Caleb Burhans.\n\nHosted each summer at SMTD\, the NewBassoon Institute is a week-long workshop on contemporary bassoon literature\, performance techniques\, and pedagogy designed for college students and beyond.
