DESCRIPTION:Duderstadt Center Gallery\nSeptember 24 – October 10\n\nCelebrating 35 years of Michigan Solar Car history\, the exhibit tells the story of Michigan Solar Car including our founding\, 10 National Championships\, 17 cars\, and over 30 competitions. Experience the progression of solar car engineering over three decades and the forging of the team’s identity. See several of the team’s cars up close\, hundreds of exclusive photos\, and the 2024 National Championship trophy all on display.\n\nThe exhibit is free and open to the public. No tickets required. Gallery Hours: Tuesday-Friday\, Noon -6:00 p.m. and Sunday\, Noon-6:00 p.m.

SUMMARY:Workshop / Seminar:Rackham Public Scholarship Grants Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This workshop will provide an overview of the application process and requirements for graduate students interested in applying for a Rackham Public Scholarship Grant. These competitive awards provide funding for collaborative\, mutually beneficial projects between Rackham students and community partners outside the university that use research to serve the greater public good.\nDuring this session\, Rackham staff will provide an overview of the guidelines\, requirements\, and application instructions to apply for a Rackham Public Scholarship Grant. The session will also include a panel of current and past grantees who will discuss their projects and their approach to submitting successful applications.\nCommunity partners working with students are also welcome to attend the session.\nPlease note: Attending the workshop is required for students planning to submit an application. Only students who attend the workshop are eligible to submit a draft application for feedback and final application.\n\nIf you cannot attend the workshop\, please reach out to rackpublicscholarship@umich.edu to determine an alternate way to complete the workshop requirement.\nRegistration is required at https://myumi.ch/qVrX1.\nWe want to ensure full and equitable participation in our events.
