SUMMARY:Other:Read and Look | In Egyptian Times
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a kid-friendly tour of the Egyptian exhibits at the Kelsey Museum. We will begin by reading aloud *In Egyptian Times*\, written by Kate Davies with illustrations by Alfredo Belli\, then explore the galleries to find the artifacts pictured in the book. This tour is great for our younger visitors\, ages 4–7. All children must be accompanied by an adult.\n\nAbout *In Egyptian Times*: “This is a delightful picture book that brings to life a busy day in Egypt\, long ago. A little boy hurries off to school\, acrobats tumble through the crowded market\, and crowds gather by the River Nile to watch the Pharaoh coming home . . .”\n\nThis event is free and open to all visitors. If you have any questions or concerns regarding accessing this event\, please visit our accessibility page at https://myumi.ch/zwPkd or contact the education office by calling (734) 647-4167. We ask for advance notice as some accommodations may require more time for the university to arrange.
