Join the University of Michigan Arts Initiative for a FEAST Virtual Info Session to learn how students from across U-M can get involved in faculty-led arts research projects.\n\nFEAST (Faculty Engaged Arts + Student Teams) brings together undergraduate and graduate students from different disciplines to collaborate on faculty-led research projects that integrate the arts. DESCRIPTION:First-year and undeclared second-year students can meet with our students\, faculty\, and student organizations. See what you can research with us in the hall of poster presentations. If ready\, students will also be allowed to declare their Engineering Physics or Nuclear Engineering & Radiological Sciences major. Free food and swag will be provided!\n\nNERS Major\nWe are the #1 nuclear engineering program in the country\, and we're looking for students with strong physics and math skills\, and an interest in developing sustainable energy solutions\, nuclear weapons detection\, using the world's most powerful lasers\, and more. \n\nEngineering Physics Major\nNERS also oversees the Engineering Physics program. The program lets students define their own curriculum and carry out research in their focus areas. It's a good fit for motivated students who are drawn to a specific field of interest\, to define their own research\, and want a strong physics background.\n\nNERS Minor\nStudents in other majors can complement their degree with a minor in Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences. The minor provides a foundation in nuclear science and technology while allowing students to explore applications in areas such as energy\, radiation\, materials\, medicine\, national security\, and more.
