SUMMARY:Workshop / Seminar:Rackham Interdisciplinary Workshops Information Session (Current RIW Graduate Student Coordinators and Faculty Sponsors)
DESCRIPTION:Join Associate Dean Catharine Sanok and Laura Schram\, Rackham senior academic director\, to learn about upcoming Rackham Interdisciplinary Workshop (RIW) program changes we will be implementing for AY2024-2025. We have redesigned some of the program aspects in response to the feedback we received from the RIW graduate student coordinators\, and based on an evaluation of the program conducted during AY2022-2023. We believe that changes are going to increase the ability of RIW to provide interdisciplinary exchange\, and RIW will be easier to manage administratively. Attendees will learn about the new opportunities and ways to engage with the RIW.\nLunch will be provided. Please indicate dietary preferences.\nFor those who are not able to attend\, we will be sharing all the new updates via our RIW webpages and will notify you when those are posted and live.\nRegistration is required at https://myumi.ch/ypk7J.\nWe want to ensure full and equitable participation in our events. If an accommodation would promote your full participation in this event\, please follow the registration link to indicate your accommodation requirements. Please let us know as soon as possible in order to have adequate time\, preferably one week\, to arrange for your requested accommodations or an effective alternative.
