SUMMARY:Workshop / Seminar:Designing Effective Research & Presentation Posters
DESCRIPTION:In this live\, online workshop\, we review design considerations that will help you create a presentation poster that communicates clearly\, serving as both an eye-catching promotion for your work\, but more importantly\, helping you clearly and concisely communicate your topic. We discuss the importance of understanding the goal of your presentation before designing the poster\, and gearing everything on the poster towards helping tell that story. While the session is software-agnostic\, we do look at a few applications (from Illustrator\, to PowerPoint\, to online tools) and discuss a few pros & cons of each. Lastly\, you’ll learn about additional resources and where to go to get more help.\n\nPlease visit https://ttc.iss.lsa.umich.edu/ttc/sessions/upcoming to register for this free workshop!
