Our grant programs include the Planet Blue Student Innovation Fund and the Social and Environmental Sustainability Grant. \n\nJoin us in these information sessions to learn more about which grant program is right for your project and get the support you and your team needs through the application process!\n\nInfo sessions take place virtually every Tuesday from 10-11a and every Wednesday from 2-3p. DESCRIPTION:Muse Ye\, DMA candidate in collaborative piano\, will present a dissertation lecture recital on New Zealand composer Jenny McLeod.\n\nA prominent figure in New Zealand music\, Jenny McLeod retained her curiosity through her compositional career\, from producing works using post-tonal techniques from her studies with Messiaen\, to full length opera based on the Māori legend of creation\, and works inspired by contemporary popular music (rock\, jazz etc.).\n\nShort clips of large ensemble works will be projected\, and the works that will be performed live are:\n\n- Selections from *Under Southern Skies*\, a song cycle for mezzo-soprano and piano\n- *Suite: Jazz Themes*\, for flute\, clarinet/soprano sax\, viola and piano \n\nPlease join us for the story of a beautiful artist from a remote corner of the world.
