DESCRIPTION:The Kelsey Museum is home to an impressive number of artifacts that provide insights into the everyday lives of people from the ancient Mesopotamian\, Egyptian\, and Roman worlds. This tour will look at the Kelsey’s carefully excavated and curated artifacts—which their original owners would be shocked to see on display behind glass in a temperature-controlled building. In fact\, some of these items would have been considered trash or recyclables! Check your hoarding tendencies at the door and join us as we learn more about the priceless everyday artifacts at the Kelsey.\n\nThis event is free and open to all visitors.
