DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special event featuring a historical research project documenting the Muslim Students’ Association’s six-decade legacy at the University of Michigan. The program will highlight key moments\, challenges\, and achievements that shaped the MSA and its impact on campus life. A panel of MSA alumni and past leaders will reflect on their experiences\, followed by a showcase of archival materials gathered through the project from the Bentley Historical Library\, Joseph A. Labadie Collection\, and MSA community members.\n \nOrganized in partnership with Reem Killawi and Muntaha Rahman of the U-M Muslim Students’ Association with support from Dr Nancy Khalil (Arab and Muslim American Studies)\, the Bentley Historical Library\, the University of Michigan Muslim Alumni Association (UMMA)\, and the U-M Inclusive History Project.\n\nSponsored by the University Library\, Bentley Historical Library\, Global Islamic Studies Center\, Arab and Muslim American Studies program (Department of American Culture)\, Islamophobia Working Group\, and The Muslim Coalition.
