DESCRIPTION:The Creative Arts Orchestra (CAO)\, directed by Marcus Elliot\, is an experimental improvisational-based music ensemble from the University of Michigan’s School of Music\, Theatre\, and Dance. CAO kicks off NeuroArts Productions' Path to Precision gallery exhibition and performance series —an interdisciplinary project that reimagines a mental healthcare system free from stigma and profit-driven systems. \n\nThis performance marks the world premiere of the NeuroArts and Future States Interactive Brain Visualizer\, a new audience-response technology that transforms real-time emotional response into dynamic audiovisual art. As CAO musicians play\, audience members will experience their own real-time emotional responses visualized in real-time\, positioning audience members as a part of the compositional process.\n\nDoors open 6:30 p.m.\n\n7:00 p.m. Music\n\n8:00 p.m. panel discussion with leading neuroscientists\, artists\, and organizers.
