DESCRIPTION:Join us to learn more about the Investment Fellows program here at The New York State Teachers' Retirement System (NYSTRS)! NYSTRS isone of the 10 largest public pension funds in the nation and among the best-funded teacher systems. The Investment Fellows program is a 2-year program during which Investment Fellows move between the various assetclasses at 6-month intervals. During the two years\, Fellows will be provided hands-on training in each asset class: Fixed Income\, Real Estate\, Private Equity\, and Public Equities. This position is a great opportunityfor new graduates who want to move into a career in investing!The goal of this session is to provide more detailed information on the Investment Fellows Program and its application process.

DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, January 16\, the Library of Michigan will host an all-day teachers’ workshop on “Americans and the Holocaust.” Middle and high school teachers will participate in lectures on the Holocaust and US immigration policy\; hear a talk given by a second-generation survivor\; and receive a walk-through of the exhibit.  The workshop is free to educators (though it requires registration) and also offers teachers the chance to bring their classes through the exhibit.\n\nIn conjunction with the Americans and the Holocaust exhibit at the Library of Michigan.
