DESCRIPTION:This seminar\, as a part of IOE 813\, will feature experts from Michigan Medicine's Comprehensive Gender Services Program (CGSP). They will outline current inefficiencies regarding the processing of letters of support and approval for patients interested in gender-affirming care. Attendees will then discuss systems-based approaches to enhancing the efficiency of these processes\, thereby enhancing care and pursuing overall health equity for transgender patients.\n\nThe seminar will highlight the importance of collaborative efforts among healthcare providers\, patients\, and administrative staff to improve service delivery. Individuals involved in healthcare management\, operations engineering\, and those interested in optimizing gender-affirming care are especially encouraged to attend.
