SUMMARY:Workshop / Seminar:Interviewing Tips and Strategies
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is open to all graduate students seeking guidance around interviewing for positions beyond tenure track roles\, which can differ greatly from the academic job search process. It also meets the needs of those applying to internships\, including those applying to the Rackham Doctoral Intern Fellowship Program.\nThe workshop will focus on preparing graduate students to navigate the interview process\, and to effectively answer questions by strategically articulating strengths and skills. We will also discuss a framework for answering behavioral interview questions.\n\nThis event is intended to be interactive\, therefore a recording will not be available.\nRegistration is required at https://myumi.ch/G4MJb.\nWe want to ensure full and equitable participation in our events. If an accommodation would promote your full participation in this event\, please follow the registration link to indicate your accommodation requirements. Please let us know as soon as possible in order to have adequate time\, preferably one week\, to arrange for your requested accommodations or an effective alternative.
