SUMMARY:Workshop / Seminar:Halloween Social Skills Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Does Halloween cause anxiety in your family? Is trick-or-treating both fun and nerve-wracking at the same time?\n\nThis workshop\, presented by the Mary A. Rackham Institute will help children learn social\, communication\, and safety skills around Halloween\, and then practice these skills in a safe environment.\n\nThis in-person workshop is geared towards children with a developmental and chronological between 4-10\, who may need more confidence and practice with communication and social skills around Halloween and Trick-or-Treating. The group will meet for one hour to learn\, and then have a second hour to practice skills.\n\nOur two-hour workshop is led by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA)\, who have experience working with neurodiverse children (ADHD\, ASD\, etc.).\n\nWorkshop Details:\n\nWhen: Tuesday\, Oct. 29\nTime:\n-- Education from 5-6 p.m.\, EST\n-- Practice from 6-7 p.m.\, EST\n- Where: Held in-person at our office\, 210 S. 5th Ave.\, Ann Arbor\, MI 48104\n- Cost: $45 per child for the workshop portion\, pre-paid before the workshop.\n- Registration: Fill out our secure online registration form to get started.\n\nNote: Children are welcome to wear costumes\, but they are not required. Children that are not part of the education group\, are welcome to join their sibling(s) during the second hour for trick-or-treating.
