SUMMARY:Well-being:Winter Blues & Sleep
DESCRIPTION:Campus Mind Works\, in collaboration with the College of Engineering's C.A.R.E. Center and the Newnan Academic Advising Center\, is excited to offer free mental health education and support groups for all students! These groups are facilitated by a U-M employee. The first half is an educational presentation on a mental health topic and provide space to share your experience with others during the second half. Topics change every month depending on student needs.\n\nFebruary's topic is on how winter impacts your mood as well as your sleep. We will also discuss strategies to cope and hear from other students about their experiences with the winter blues.\n\nThis wellness will be held in-person on North Campus at Chrysler Center in room 265. Registration is NOT required for the in-person wellness group\, but is recommended to ensure food is available for everyone in attendance. Lunch will be served.

SUMMARY:Livestream / Virtual:Work for Housing Equity with Justice InDeed!
DESCRIPTION:Looking for a tangible way to improve equity in Washtenaw County?\n\nCome join Justice InDeed for a collaborative session to identify & transcribe racially restrictive covenants on home deeds in Washtenaw County. During the session\, we will be working together to build a database and map for affected properties all over the County\, helping us better reckon with our complete history. This event is a partnership between Ann Arbor Housing For All and FutureRoot\, and co-sponsored by the Ginsberg Center.\n\nNo experience is necessary\, just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to help make a difference in our community! Nearly 60% of the 10\,000 deeds we need to transcribe have been completed--help us get to the finish line by May 2025! Don't miss out on this opportunity to contribute to a great cause and connect with like-minded individuals. See you there!
