DESCRIPTION:When first published in 1725\, nobody could imagine that Vivaldi’s Four Seasons would become some of the most frequently-heard music of all time. This program frames the iconic concertos in a new light\, inviting questions about the fleeting cyclical nature of our existence\, our relationship with nature\, and the eternal renewal of earth’s cycles\, now being modified by climate change.
