This workshop will focus on the tools needed to jumpstart an independent career and how to run your own business in music\, theatre\, and dance. Topics will include: financial planning\, how to grow artistically\, nonprofit business structures\, fundraising\, building community\, and how to form lasting relationships to create a culture built around you and your colleagues This workshop will be lead by the GRAMMY Nominated Akropolis Reed Quintet and will feature individual artists Tim Gocklin (Oboe)\, Matt Landry (Saxophone)\, Andrew Koeppe (Bass Clarinet)\, Dr. Ryan Reynolds (Bassoon)\, and Adjunct Instructor Kari Landry (Clarinet).
