SUMMARY:Workshop / Seminar:Periodicity of T-Systems for Bipartite Recurrent Quivers
DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, we follow Galashin and Pylyavskyy's paper to give an elementary criterion and a classification of bipartite recurrent quivers that exhibit periodicity of T-systems. After reviewing some prerequisites\, we will first state the graph theoretical condition for periodicity and discuss the classification. Here we will see a reappearance of a periodicity result presented by Bernhard Keller in his colloquium talk last week. Then\, we will discuss three other equivalent conditions for periodicity and their significance through several examples. A quick sketch of the proof of the main theorem will be given if time permits.

SUMMARY:Conference / Symposium:10th Annual CHEPS Symposium
DESCRIPTION:Since 2013\, the Center for Healthcare Engineering & Patient Safety (CHEPS) Symposium has been a cornerstone event showcasing groundbreaking research and applied projects that aim to elevate the healthcare system through the lens of systems-based engineering. This symposium has consistently brought together a diverse community of students\, researchers\, and healthcare professionals who are passionate about innovating and enhancing healthcare quality and efficiency.\n\nWith a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration\, the event highlights a variety of projects that span patient safety\, operational efficiency\, and overall healthcare delivery improvements. These poster presentations provide a fertile ground for knowledge exchange and networking\, making the CHEPS Symposium an invaluable part of the healthcare engineering landscape.\n\nJoin us to learn more about how the Center for Healthcare Engineering & Patient Safety (CHEPS) is improving the safety and quality of healthcare delivery by identifying\, fostering\, and promoting collaborative projects across the University.\n\nThe symposium offers refreshments\, posters from researchers across the university and beyond\, and networking with others passionate about the intersection of engineering and healthcare improvement.\n\nPosters represent collaborations between the U-M College of Engineering\, Michigan Medicine\, the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System\, Michigan Department of Health & Human Services\, the Michigan Institute for Clinical Health Research\, and more.
