Learn firsthand how spending time outdoors can improve your social and emotional well-being and leave you feeling refreshed and recharged. You'll discover how to reduce stress and invigorate your energy levels through mindful exercises and a deep appreciation for the natural world. \n\nA Breath of Fresh Air\nTuesday\, January 28\nNoon to 12:45 p.m.\n\nMeet at the Reader Center near the entrance to the Nichols Arboretum\, 1610 Washington Heights\, Ann Arbor\, MI 48104. \n\nLearn mindfulness techniques and find nearby spots with Nature Rx in the Michigan App. \n\nSpecial activities for this session:\n- Sounds of winter: Arts Initiative Creative Careers Resident Leah Crosby will lead a sound-in-nature activity. \n- A Nichols Arboretum Student Caretaker will share ideas for noticing nature in the winter.\n\nPlease note: We will learn to appreciate nature in all forms\, and sessions will be held in rain\, snow\, or shine. This winter event may be canceled in the case of hazardous ice on walking paths--we will contact you if this is the case.
