DESCRIPTION:Designing an Unreal Future: Epic × Michigan Industry Day brings together UM-Ann Arbor faculty\, students\, and leaders to explore how innovative technologies are reshaping the automotive industry\, aviation\, design\, entertainment\, and more.\n\nHosted by the University of Michigan’s Center for Academic Innovation\, the event features speakers from leading organizations such as Epic Games\, Ford\, GM\, Rivian\, Bombardier\, and Omnicom.\n\nThe day provides opportunities to engage with industry professionals\, participate in hands-on workshops\, and experience immersive demos. Students can also receive feedback on their portfolios by sitting down with industry experts.\n\nIn addition\, U-M students from all three campuses can participate in Podium Education’s Early Talent Competition. Students will develop their own proposals on how Unreal Engine can be used in new\, innovative ways\, allowing them to gain product familiarity and address real-world industry challenges. Details of the talent competition and registration information will be provided to those who apply to attend.\n\nDesigned for students and professionals at all experience levels\, Designing an Unreal Future creates a unique space for collaboration\, experiential learning\, and meaningful connections between academia and industry.
