You'll begin with a tour of Growing Hope's urban garden\, where you'll learn about sustainable food systems\, urban agriculture\, and the organization's mission to build a healthier\, more equitable community.\n\nThen\, roll up your sleeves and work alongside a local chef to help prepare a meal for Growing Hope's annual fundraising event. DESCRIPTION:The Vietnam War has largely been characterized by the sheer havoc that it released on its citizens\, the environment\, and those unfortunate soldiers who were drafted there. Apocalypse Now is an infamously brutal journey through the varied horrors of napalm and the jungle. Set in 1969 during the height of the conflict\, Francis Ford Coppola constructs a fittingly disoriented and surreal landscape through which Captain Benjamin Willard must navigate. Given orders by his superiors to assassinate a defected colonel\, Willard has little to sustain him apart from a waning sense of patriotism. Join him on his journey\, and you will both soon discover that this mission is as hopeless as the war itself.
