SUMMARY:Workshop / Seminar:International Spouses & Partners Event Series (Summer 2026)
DESCRIPTION:Did your spouse\, partner\, children\, or other family members move to Ann Arbor with you? This series is designed primarily for accompanying family members—especially those with F-2 or J-2 status—who will be living in the Ann Arbor community long-term.Adjusting to life in the United States and Ann Arbor can take time\, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Participants can explore helpful resources\, practice everyday English\, learn about Ann Arbor\, and connect with other international families. Anyone may attend\, and children are welcome\; however\, the series is intended for family members settling into the community rather than relatives visiting briefly for student drop-off. All events will be led by the Michigan Language Center (MLC) in partnership with the U-M International Center. This series is being offered as part of International Orientation\; however\, registration is open to continuing students\, as well.
