DESCRIPTION:Are you often your own harshest critic? Do you struggle with self-criticism\, anxiety\, or depression? If so\, self-compassion can be a transformative skill for your well-being. The Mary A. Rackham Institute (MARI)’s Psychological Clinic is offering an 8-week\, in-person Self-Compassion Group this fall\, designed to help adults enhance emotional health by learning to treat themselves with kindness.\n\nWhat Is Self-Compassion Therapy?\nSelf-compassion is the practice of treating yourself with the same kindness and care you’d offer to a good friend. For those facing intense self-criticism or mental health challenges like anxiety and depression\, self-compassion can improve resilience and overall emotional well-being.
