(International Studies + Middle Ease & North African Studies major)\n- HighScope Educational Research Foundation - Research Coordinator (Political Science major)\n\nDuring the event\, one of our QMSS Peer Mentors will moderate questions for the panelists tailored towards what their application\, recruitment\, and hiring process was like\, what their day-to-day tasks are in their new-ish jobs\, what skills and tools they are using or building on from U-M and QMSS coursework\, what they've learned about their respective industries\, and where they hope their career takes them into the future. Afterwards\, we will have breakout room opportunities to more personally connect with individual panelists and ask them the nitty gritty questions that have been on your mind.\n\nHopefully\, you will learn more about various data-related career paths and opportunities available to you as a QMSS graduate and get answers to the questions you've been dying to ask in a low-risk setting! DESCRIPTION:DMA candidate in composition Mikeila McQueston presents the world premiere of her piece *ever unleaving*. \n\nA song cycle for mezzo-soprano and tenor\, *ever unleaving* uses nature-based imagery to explore the complex and overwhelming task of coping with grief in early adulthood. The libretto features five newly commissioned poems from interdisciplinary artist Tamar Ashdot and takes inspiration from Michigan’s geographical landscape. DESCRIPTION:Join the 2025-26 Public Humanities interns to learn about the program and their experience as interns.The Public Humanities Internship is a paid internship program that provides 8 selected undergraduate students at the University of Michigan with the unique opportunity to participate in the life of the Institute for the Humanities. Interns interact with each other as well as faculty fellows\, graduate student fellows\, staff\, visiting scholars and artists\, and other members of our community to explore humanities topics and ideas. They then turn those conversations into humanities-related programs and events geared toward undergraduate students. Interns work 7 hours/week and are paid $18/hour.
