DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, September 10thB3570 | 5:00pm to 7:00pm This event is designed for Sophomore students who joined The Ross School of Business in Fall 2026 as transfer students\, and who are looking to meet other incoming transfer students and for support with their BBA academic planning.Dinner will be served from 5:00 to 6:00pm and transfer students will have the opportunity to connect and network with each other. From 6:00pm-7:00pm Ross Academic Advising will host a Personal Development Plan (PDP) working session.\nDuring the PDP workshop portion\, Ross Academic Advisors and Ross Academic Peer Advisors (RAPAs) will give a brief presentation on BBA requirements followed by a working session where students can plan out their schedules through Senior Year. DESCRIPTION:Autism: The Way I See It – September 10th in the Ann Arbor\, MI Area\nThis presentation is for educators\, parents\, therapists\, and caregivers.\nJoin us for this special event featuring Dr. Temple Grandin. Dr. Grandin will explain the importance of schedules and share strategies to support individuals on the autism spectrum with their classwork. Temple believes there are workarounds for all situations\, including finding a job\, volunteer work\, tutoring\, and test taking.\nTemple Grandin earned her PhD in Animal Science from the University of Illinois and is currently a Professor at Colorado State University. Dr. Grandin is one of the most respected individuals with autism in the world. She presents at conferences worldwide\, helping thousands of parents and professionals understand how to help individuals with autism.\nShe is the author of Autism: The Way I See It\, Different\, Not Less\, Visual Thinking\, and The Outdoor Scientist\, among many others. One of the most celebrated—and effective—animal advocates on the planet\, Dr. Grandin revolutionized animal movement systems and spearheaded reform of the quality of life for the world’s agricultural animals. Her portrait has been inducted in the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery.
