DESCRIPTION:Learn about the campus’ history and architecture and explore the campus that might have been. This exhibit highlights the U-M Ann Arbor campus\, both before its creation and throughout its continuous evolution. Featuring the work of famous architects such as Alexander Jackson Davis\, Albert Kahn and Eero Saarinen\, the exhibit presents maps\, plans\, architectural drawings\, proposals\, and photographs of the campus throughout its evolution.  \n\nThis exhibit was originally part of a larger exhibit displayed from July 2017 to January 2018 to commemorate U-M's bicentennial.

DESCRIPTION:To support U-M’s campus waste reduction goals Athletics is committed to striving toward zero waste game days at Michigan Stadium. Almost all material sold in Michigan Stadium is recyclable or compostable and the success of the Zero Waste Stadium program relies on the proper placement of those items into the corresponding bin. \n\nFor the 2025 season\, the Zero Waste Stadium program is seeking volunteers to staff waste bins to help minimize contamination and educate fans. Volunteers must arrive 2 hours before kick-off. As compensation for your time\, participants will each be provided a meal voucher to use at the game. Please register if interested!

DESCRIPTION:Exhibition Dates: September 27 - November 8\, 2025\nOpening Performances: September 27\, 1-5 p.m.Closing Performances: November 8\, 1-5 p.m.\nStacey L. Kirby’s The Bureau of Personal Belonging is a series of interactive performances set within immersive installations and activated by viewer participation. The work fosters dialogue on identity\, community\, and civil engagement. Through bureaucratic forms\, papers\, postures\, language\, and aesthetics\, audiences are invited to participate in respectful dialogues and playful interactions with the artist. As the 2025 Roman J. Witt Artist-in-Residence\, Kirby spent 12 weeks on campus from January through March of 2025 meeting with students\, faculty\, and staff from the Stamps School and across U-M. Based on these conversations\, Kirby devised a site-specific installation that seeks to amplify the voices of the U-M community\, uphold the value of democratic civic engagement\, and highlight the power of art in building solidarity and mutual respect.\nCurated by Srimoyee Mitra.

SUMMARY:Exhibition:The Eye of the Storm
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an innovative exhibition and installation organized by the Stamps School’s SEC (Student Exhibition Committee) and composed of work by Stamps students. The SEC aims to create new and exciting opportunities for undergrads to develop their skills in exhibition-making and installations. \nExhibition Statement\nIn the midst of contemporary chaos there is a quieter\, more isolated struggle to find meaning. As we pursue consistency within our own art making practices\, we must nurture our yearnings for a sustainable community. Fleeting connections can be found in the in-betweens of time and space—cooking with others\, commuting\, etc.\nThe Eye of the Storm is an exhibition demonstrating various forms of individual and collective peacemaking and resistance. This show explores the ways we use creative rituals within the private and public spheres: exploring self identity\, advocating for justice\, fostering care for others and social bonding.
