DESCRIPTION:Feeling a bit lost? Interested in psychology but you aren't sure exactly what you would like to do? Are you feeling overwhelmed about choosing a career path? These feelings are normal at all stages of life\, especially during undergrad. In this workshop we will discuss different approaches for thinking about future career goals and we will also discuss career opportunities related to psychology. DESCRIPTION:\nThis Rackham Professional Development Diversity\, Equity\, and Inclusion Certificate Program (DEICP) Orientation serves as a virtual opportunity to complete the orientation to the DEICP. The orientation will provide an opportunity to meet other students in the program\, gain an introduction to the Intercultural Development Inventory that helps to assess the program\, and learn more about the requirements and expectations of the certificate.\nThis workshop is for accepted members of the DEICP. DESCRIPTION:WHAT:Come join Sarah and Steve for a 4-week series exploring Blues on the social dance floor. This series will cover Blues pulse\, connections\, traveling\, shapes as well as the different connections: open\, closed and close embrace (chest-to-chest with your partner).We’ll focus primarily on Ballroomin’ style blues that fits slow jazz music well\, but will also cover Jookin’ blues and music it’s danced to (e.g. Chicago Blues). We’ll be starting from scratch\, so dancers of all levels are welcome! Please note that teachers reserve the right to turn students away if they did not attend the weeks prior\, for the safety of other students.REGISTRATION: Preregistration is required for this series. Please fill out this form prior to attendence.FOOTWEAR:\nNo street shoes allowed. The studio requires that folks bring dedicated dance shoes. No shoes should go from the street to the dance floor.
