DESCRIPTION:Do you find yourself worrying about what others think\, avoiding social situations\, or wishing you could feel more confident and comfortable in groups? You’re not alone. Our 8-week social anxiety group therapy offers a supportive space to build social skills\, overcome anxiety\, and connect with others facing similar challenges.\n\nWhat to Expect in Our Group Therapy:\n- Learn to identify and shift unhelpful thinking patterns\n- Build practical coping skills for social situations\n- Practice new strategies in a safe\, supportive\, and confidential environment\n\nDetails:\n- Who: Adults age 18+ experiencing social anxiety\, performance anxiety\, or seeking to gain confidence in social settings\n- When: Wednesdays\, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.\, October 1 – November 19\, 2025 (8 weeks)\n- Where: In-person at our conveniently located mental health clinic\, 210 S. 5th Ave.\, downtown Ann Arbor\n- Cost: $45 per session. Insurance may help cover costs\; please inquire for details.\n\nWhy Choose Group Therapy?\nGroup therapy for social anxiety provides unique benefits over individual counseling. In a group setting\, you’ll not only learn new skills but also practice them in real-time with support from peers. In this 6-week series\, we’ll be working toward swingouts from the ground up.  Learn classic shapes & patterns while improving your connection & improvisation skills.
