The Mary A. Rackham Institute (MARI)’s Psychological Clinic is offering an 8-week\, in-person Self-Compassion Group this fall\, designed to help adults enhance emotional health by learning to treat themselves with kindness.\n\nWhat Is Self-Compassion Therapy?\nSelf-compassion is the practice of treating yourself with the same kindness and care you’d offer to a good friend. For those facing intense self-criticism or mental health challenges like anxiety and depression\, self-compassion can improve resilience and overall emotional well-being. Each pedal of the flower is representative of a dimension of wellness that is based from the work of Wolverine Wellness. Sweet Sensations plays off the physical wellness dimension.
