engages with Islam as religion and faith (rather than simply as identity) cannot exist. \r\n\r\nThere is an additional assumption that those who identify as women, queer, trans, and non-binary are unlikely to engage with Islam in their work outside of critique, because of the belief that Islam is inherently (and uniquely) oppressive of and therefore contradictory to individuals who identify as Much of Gotlib\u2019s work has been focused on the life cycle of flora. She has created images of unexpected beauty and emotional power by particularly focusing her attention on dried, dead flowers. His careers have spanned industries including telecom, consumer electronics, entertainment, outdoor adventure, automotive and mobility. And amongst those verticals, he has held leadership positions in global corporations, brand & marketing holding companies, strategic consulting and others.\nCarrie Morris is the Founding Director of Detroit Puppet Company, a non-profit arts studio driven by the belief that something as small as a puppet can inspire large social change.
