Her research focuses on the investigation of social complexity in early cities through food redistribution patterns, agricultural practices and landscape modifications, and she is currently involved in projects in Italy, Romania and Egypt. She is the co-director of the Bioarchaeology Lab at the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology and the director of Environmental Archaeology for the Gabii Project. Since 2022 she is the UofM PI for the AGROS Project.\r\n\r\nFAST, or the Field Archaeology Series on Thursdays, is usually hosted in the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology, but for the time being FAST will be held elsewhere, due to space restrictions.
