Hudson\u2019s Department Store on Woodward Avenue, construction of the Renaissance Center and Joe Louis Arena, and the abandonment of Poletown and the Warehouse District. The shadow images were then transferred to handmade paper created from invasive plant species. For Kramer the shadows speak to the fragility of threatened plants and their struggle to survive in a changing environment that includes invasive species.
