I will first explain how to extend this distinction to a family of categories and, in the case of K3 surfaces, how to use stability conditions to completely control this construction. \n\nAs one example, this leads to a construction of non-commutative abelian surfaces (categories deformation-equivalent to derived categories of abelian surfaces) in exactly as much generality as one could reasonably hope for.
