Faculty fellows at the Institute for the Humanities will discuss a part of their current project in a short talk followed by a Q & A session.\r\n\r\nAbout this talk:\r\n\r\nIn 1618, colonial Mexican officials established a city called C\u00f3rdoba along the highway between Mexico City and Veracruz to secure silver shipments from attacks by African maroons.
