Through research, narratives, demographic data, and a variety of visual and published materials, explore multifaceted aspects of mixed race heritage with insights from many perspectives.\r\n\r\nThe 2020 U.S. Census illuminated a 276 percent increase in individuals who identify as \"two or more races\" since 2010. Embellished clothing (sorochky), ritual cloths (rushnyky), and household textiles accompany a person from birth until death, punctuating important life events in between. A variety of embroidery patterns are used throughout Ukraine; some stitches are universally known, while others are region-specific.
