Since 2004, Glazer has been lead faculty and head of ceramics at Henry Ford College, and former faculty of Concord College (WV) and North Dakota State University. His artwork has been exhibited throughout the country.\r\n\r\nThroughout his adult life the art of Steve Glazer has been done as a response to his environment. From a series of shadow box type pieces containing life like ceramic fish while teaching at a Catholic woman\u2019s college, to building 8\u2019 tall ceramic \u201cskyscrapers\u201d that barely fit into the display spaces while teaching in North Dakota, where no skyscrapers exist, and then creating installations commenting on living in Appalachia while teaching in southern West Virginia.
