SELLERS\r\n\r\nRobert Sellers is the James S. Jackson Distinguished University Professor of Psychology in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts and Professor of Education in the Marsal Family School of Education at the University of Michigan. His research has focused on the role of race in African Americans\u2019 psychological lives. He and his students have developed a conceptual and empirical model of African American racial identity. He also has investigated the processes by which African American parents transmit messages about race to their children, as well as how African Americans suffer from, and often cope with, racial discrimination. Sellers co-founded the Center for the Study of Black Youth in Context.",

Fehribach Center in Indianapolis hosts an internship program for college students with physical disabilities (mobility, orthopedic, visual, &amp; hearing) in which students are placed in apaid internship in a position that correlates with their academic major. Fehribach Center staff will give a virtual presentation for U-M students on Monday, October 28 at 3pm.\u00a0To this point, 228 students from 42 colleges have completed a total of 468 internships, with 65 students interning in the summer of 2023. Internships are available for students who just finished their freshman year of college up to graduates within the last calendar year, and internships can be provided for nearly all academic majors. Among the 46 employers who have hosted Fehribach Center interns are: Eskenazi Health, Eli Lilly, Cummins, Ice Miller, BraunAbility, the Indiana Pacers, the Indianapolis Children\u2019s Museum, Roche, Republic Airways, and Christel House International.
