Our inaugural session will feature Dr. Antonio Cuyler, a distinguished Professor of Music in Entrepreneurship & Leadership at the University of Michigan's School of Music, Theatre & Dance (SMTD) and a Faculty Associate in the African Studies Center.\nDr. Cuyler's research spans arts entrepreneurship, leadership, creative justice, cultural policy, and experiential learning, with a strong focus on advocating for creative justice for marginalized communities. He has made significant contributions through his writings on diversity and inclusion in the arts, including the notable work \"Access, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Cultural Organizations.\" Additionally, he founded Cuyler Consulting, LLC, to assist cultural organizations in enhancing access, diversity, equity, and inclusion. As a first-generation college student, Dr. Cuyler has also held prominent faculty roles at institutions like Florida State University, where he became the first Black man to earn promotion and tenure in arts administration.\nJoin us for this engaging event on Monday, November 4, at the NCID office located at 530 E.
