She has spent the last 5 years in the energy sector, starting her career in Abu Dhabi, UAE and Coca, Ecuador working in field operations before moving to Houston, Texas. In Houston, Laine has had several roles in Mechanical Engineering ranging from modeling and simulation to design and testing. Currently, she is the Americas' Technology Development and Engagement Manager at SLB where she specializes in early career development of the technical population in North and South America.
