She was a 2024 National Book Foundation \u201c5-under-35\u201d honoree, and is the recipient of the 2025 Bard Fiction Prize. Her work has appeared in the *Paris Review*, the *New Yorker*, *Best American Short Stories*, and elsewhere. \r\n\r\nShe previously taught in the New School\u2019s Creative Writing and Critical Journalism Program, and in the literature department of Claremont McKenna College. She was a Senior Editor of the *New Inquiry* and *Triple Canopy*, and currently serves as an advisory editor of the *Paris Review*. Her work has been supported by Blue Mountain Center, Marble House Project, and Headlands Center for the Arts, where she received the McLaughlin Children\u2019s Trust Award.
