He is the editor of the journal Comparative Studies in Society and History. \n\n\"The Force of Water\"\nLihong Liu is the Sally Michaelson Davidson Professor of Chinese Arts and Cultures and an Assistant Professor in the History of Art Department at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She earned her PhD from the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University. Her research focuses on Chinese arts and the visual and material cultures of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
