This night will be a board game night unless people bring their consoles if they want to play WiiU games or whatever else tickles their fancy. However, since we cannot gaurutee there will be a console, we will focus on board games throughout the night. It is a good break from the video games and is always a lot of fun! If you haven't played board games with us yet I strongly recommend it because you won't be disappointed! We will play a variety of board games that are yet undetermined, but regardless of what they are, the people are what make the games a lot of fun! If you have any questions, email marader@umich.edu!

Location: Michigan Union
Organized By: Germanic Languages & Literatures

The Deutschtisch for Spring 2017 is associated with German 100, but all are welcome! The group will meet Mondays and Wednesdays 12:15-1:00. You can find the group with your ears (i.e. listen for a group of people speaking German). Look for the group at Beanster's Cafe on the ground floor of the Michigan League (typically the group will meet here) OR occasionally on Mondays with good weather, in the "Courtyard Garden" of the League, across from UHS (one way to get to it would be to go directly through the League from the front doors (facing the Bell Tower) to the back doors). ALTERNATIVELY, you can come to the end of the morning class session at 12:00 in Room 2106 MLB and then walk to lunch with the group.

There will always be at least one instructor present; in the first half of the Summer semester, that will be Shubhangi Dabak or Julie Gruber.

All interested German speakers are welcome!

If you are taking German 232 in the Summer, you can make up 2 "A&P Tally" points by attending. Just ask one of the instructors present to let your instructor(s) know you were there.

Deutschtisch (July 24, 2017 12:15pm) https://events.umich.edu/event/40838 40838-8799203@events.umich.edu Event Begins: Monday, July 24, 2017 12:15pm
Location: Michigan League

SLE River Paddle (September 1, 2017 12:30pm) https://events.umich.edu/event/41398 41398-9209125@events.umich.edu Event Begins: Friday, September 1, 2017 12:30pm
Location: Off Campus Location
Organized By: Sustainable Living Experience

Join SLE for a raft trip on the Huron River! Meet outside the Vandenberg Community Center at 12:30pm in your river/paddling attire and ride together to the Argo Canoe Livery. SLE will provide rafts, paddles and lifejackets for students rented from Argo, and we will paddle together down the river to Gallop Park. We will be paddling on the river from 1-2:30pm, and return to Oxford around 3pm. The river is fairly shallow and gentle, with the exception of a several modest human-made cascades at the start of the trip near Argo Canoe Livery (pictured here).

*consider sunblock, sunhats, sunglasses, hydration (water bottles), and water resistant shoes/sandals that stay on well*

NOTE: The water level on the Huron River is low (it is very shallow), which means that we will probably need to use two-person kayaks instead of five-person rafts.

Hey everyone! The Casual Gaming Club is hosting event #3 of the semester!

Finish off the week right and come and hang out with us this Saturday, September 23rd, starting at 9:00 PM 'til 12:00 AM. It will be on the first floor of the Michigan Union, Anderson ABCD (the same room as the very first event!)

We'll be playing all kinds of games, from video games on consoles that will be screened on projectors and PC games for those who bring their laptops. Card games, board games, and other activities at tables will also be a BIG highlight at the event! Bring your console, games, controllers, and laptop PC if you want to play a certain game with others. Feel free to bring friends as well!

If you enjoy grouping up in six-stack parties to stomp noobs on Overwatch, make sure to bring your laptop and reach out to your other Overwatch PC gamers by commenting below or mentioning "@Overwatch Gamers" in the Discord group chat's #overwatch channel! We'll also be grouping up for other large team-based PC games like League of Legends, Dota 2, and Heroes of the Storm, so make sure to reach out to your respective team members beforehand to group up!

Unfortunately, we've decided not to provide food for this event, so please make sure you catch something to bite before coming.

Lastly, an important reminder!! If you haven't yet, please don't forget to connect your games/interests with other club members using the link below so that we can group you up with other similar gamers to play with at the event and later too! http://45.76.18.247/

Finish off the week right and come and hang out with us this Saturday, October 21st, starting at 2:00 PM 'til 5:00 PM. It will be in the Anderson Room in the Union.

BIG REMINDER THIS EVENT IS EARLIER IN THE DAY AND NOT AT NIGHT!!!

We'll be playing all kinds of games, from video games on consoles that will be screened on projectors and PC games for those who bring their laptops. Card games, board games, and anything you want to do. Bring your console, games, controllers, and laptop PC if you want to play a certain game with others. Feel free to bring friends as well!

Not entirely sure of the game lineup this week, sorry! But are we ever really disappointed anyway??

If you enjoy grouping up in six-stack parties and having fun on Overwatch, make sure to bring your laptop and reach out to your other Overwatch PC gamers by commenting below or mentioning "@Overwatch Gamers" in the Discord group chat's #overwatch channel! We'll also be grouping up for other large team-based PC games like League of Legends, Dota 2, and Heroes of the Storm (if the amount of people required for it are there), so make sure to reach out to your respective team members beforehand to group up with @"[Game Title] Gamers" too!

Lastly, like before, if you haven't yet, please don't forget to connect your games/interests with other club members using the link below so that we can group you up with other similar gamers to play with at the event and later too! http://45.76.18.247/
