SUMMARY:Performance:Alicia Witt - Album Release Show
DESCRIPTION:'Her melodic and buoyant sound harkens back to the works of Elton John\, Billy Joel and Carole King' –Popmatters\n\nBetween Heaven and Earth\, the haunting and deeply personal new album from Alicia Witt\, arrives August 28 via Thirty Tigers. Recorded live in New York City with producer Joe Henry and a band assembled specifically for the project\, the album exists in a space suspended between transcendence and intimacy\, channeling what Witt describes as “eternal unconditional love” and “the place suspended between heaven and earth.”\n\nThe album was profoundly shaped by the influence and memory of David Lynch\, whose impact on Witt stretches back to her first film role as Alia in Dune at age seven. “I can’t imagine who I would be without David Lynch\,” Witt reflects. “He is weaved throughout the fabric of my life.” Throughout Between Heaven and Earth\, Witt explores what she learned from Lynch “regarding love. The eternal nature of it\, the idea that only love is real.” She describes his presence as palpable throughout the making of the record: “David was with us every day in the studio. All six of us in the band felt his presence.”\n\nWhile widely recognized for her acclaimed acting career spanning film\, television\, and stage\, music has remained a constant throughline in Witt’s life. A classically trained pianist who supported herself as a musician when she first moved to Los Angeles\, Witt has long integrated music into her creative identity\, both through her own songwriting and in many of the roles she has portrayed onscreen. She's released multiple full-length albums\, including Revisionary History (2015)\, The Conduit (2021)\, and I Think I'm Spending Christmas With You (2024). Between Heaven and Earth represents the latest chapter in that ongoing musical journey.\n\nFor Witt\, Between Heaven and Earth is ultimately about connection — to spirit\, to memory\, to other people\, and to something larger than ourselves. “Too often\, it seems to me\, people imagine love in a vacuum\,” she explains. “I know love to be eternal and unconditional.” The result is an album rooted not in bitterness or regret\, but in surrender\, gratitude\, wonder\, and the belief that “only love can change minds and hearts.”\n\n“What all of these songs have in common is that there is no bitterness\, no angst\, no revenge\, nothing resembling hatred or regret\,” Witt says. “This is my offering. May it bring you exactly where you need it to bring you.”\n\nALICIA WITT MEET & GREET VIP RECEPTION\n\nPackage includes:\nOne GA ticket to the show\nPre-show Meet & Greet with Alicia\nAutographs (Bring your own\, or purchase items at the Merch table)

SUMMARY:Performance:Teddy Thompson
DESCRIPTION:“Buoyant\, soulful” –Billboard \n\nBeloved London-born\, Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Teddy Thompson has returned with the exquisitely crafted Never Be The Same\, his first collection of original material since 2020. Across ten tracks\, Thompson refines his craft via an exploration of music’s enduring preoccupations — love\, longing\, and the uneasy passage of time.\n\nThis album wasn’t built upon a grand narrative. There was no self-imposed exile\, no forced reinvention. Instead\, it is centered around an exhortation that is threaded through the songs like a refrain: “Never Be The Same\,” its title only revealing itself to Thompson after he’d completed the recording.\n\n“It’s a phrase that\, unconsciously\, I used twice. And when I saw it on the page\, I realized\, this is the message of this album\,” says Thompson. “Don’t ever be the same. Change. Grow! Even when the sentiment is\, woe is me\, I’ll never recover after that love or loss. The message is still\, change. Don’t get too comfortable. Everything is temporary\, so evolve or perish!”\n\nThis pull and tension between comfort and change runs quietly throughout Never Be The Same\, Thompson’s 11th album\, which was produced by renowned Grammy Award–winning musician/producer David Mansfield. At the core is Thompson’s longstanding commitment to songwriting as a form\, inspired by early influences like Chuck Berry\, Hank Williams\, and Crowded House\, as well as the towering figures of the craft — Bob Dylan\, Leonard Cohen\, The Beatles\, and\, certainly\, his parents\, British folk icons Richard and Linda Thompson.\n\nUltimately\, Never Be The Same is an album about steady evolution\, a suite of deeply considered\, carefully constructed songs rooted in lived experience. If there is a message\, it’s that change is not only inevitable but essential — even when you’d rather stay exactly where you are.

SUMMARY:Performance:Adam Ezra Group
DESCRIPTION:Spontaneous roots-based music that makes a connection\n\nWe don’t see many artists building the kind of momentum Adam Ezra Group is generating right now.\n\nWhat has grown over more than two decades of relentless grassroots touring has become something far bigger than a typical touring band: a fiercely independent\, fan-powered community that continues to expand one show at a time. Rooms across the country are selling out when Adam Ezra Group comes to town\, with longtime fans regularly traveling across state lines to catch multiple shows\, drawn by the band’s deep sense of community and the promise that no two nights are ever the same.\n\nThe band never performs from a fixed setlist\, instead shaping each night around the energy in the room. Songs\, stories\, and moments unfold in real time—part concert\, part revival\, and part reminder of what live music can still be at its best.\n\nBlending folk/Americana soul\, rock ’n’ roll energy\, and deeply human songwriting\, Adam Ezra Group has built one of the most authentic underground followings in live music today while quickly becoming recognized on a national level. As SPIN recently put it\, they are “an independent underground folk band blowing up without selling out\,” a rise that has happened entirely outside the traditional industry system\, powered by word of mouth\, community activism\, and a genuine connection between band and audience that often turns first-time listeners into lifelong fans.\n\nCatch them now while they’re still playing the kinds of rooms where you can give Adam a hug on your way out.
