The study group will consider decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court interpreting the Fourteenth Amendment and other constitutional provisions concerned with race. In the course of our discussions, we will necessarily also consider theories about how the Constitution should be interpreted and about the role of the Supreme Court in our constitutional system.
