On October 9th in Rackham Auditorium, The Michigan Secular Student Alliance, in partnership with the New Life Church and the Center for Inquiry, is sponsoring a professional debate on one of today's biggest questions: Which best describes reality: Atheism or Theism?

Whether you have taken a side or remain unconvinced, we hope that everyone will have something to learn from this fascinating debate. Doors will open at 7pm and the event will begin at 7:30.

Our debaters will be Frank Turek and Eddie Tabash.

He has a doctorate in apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary and speaks at Universities, Churches and Conferences around the country. He has professionally debated several prominent atheist such the late Christopher Hitchens.

Eddie Tabash graduated from UCLA in 1973 and took his law degree from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. He is a board member of the Center for Inquiry and the Council for Secular Humanism. He has engaged in formal debates on the existence of God against such world famous Christian philosophers as William Lane Craig and Richard Swinburne.
