“When I see a work of art, something happens in my heart”—so says the young heroine of The Museum, written by Susan Verde with illustrations by Peter H. Reynolds. Join us for a kid-friendly tour of the Kelsey Museum at this month’s “Read and Look”! We will begin by reading aloud The Museum, then explore the galleries to find art and artifacts that make us want to sing, feel, dance, think, create, and connect with the people of the past. Take home a booklet of activities and coloring pages for further discovery. This tour is great for our younger visitors, ages 4–8. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
