"Biodiversity Patterning and the Influence of Plant Genome Size"
Dr. Erika Hersch-Green, Michigan Tech
As part of the 2024 Summer Lecture Series at the University of Michigan Biological Station in northern Michigan, Dr. Erika Hersch-Green, an associate professor of biological sciences at Michigan Tech, will give a talk titled “Biodiversity Patterning and the Influence of Plant Genome Size."
The event on the Pellston campus is free and open to the public.
The evolutionary ecologist studies how plants interact with their abiotic and biotic communities. Her work integrates the theory and techniques from the disciplines of ecology, evolution, genetics, chemistry and physiology.
