Want to set up an AI-powered assistant for your classes in minutes? Join the ITS Emerging Technology team for a fast and engaging workshop where they’ll show you how to create an interactive AI tutor for your Canvas courses using Maizey, U-M’s custom AI platform. When you “Make a Maizey” for your class, it offers your students 24/7-access to a chatbot trained on your course content, which they can access via Canvas or MiMaizey, U-M’s personalized AI assistant for students.

Our Maizey AI/Canvas integration can save time answering routine questions, improve student engagement, and offer round-the-clock support for a diversity of learning styles and classroom needs. These sessions are open to all faculty and Canvas instructors. There will be food and fun swag too. No registration necessary, walk-ins encouraged!
