The Michigan Institute for Data and AI in Society (MIDAS) Student Organization Committee is hosting its second annual Data Science Night on Friday, April 18 from 5-8 PM in CCCB 0420 and 0460. Come support your classmates as they present their past year’s work with presentations and a poster/demo session. These projects showcase exciting applications of data science from flower identification to a real life JARVIS from Iron Man!
We will also host an “ethics in AI” simulation where participants will play the part of engineers designing an AI-powered product, followed by a speaker panel featuring local companies that use data science. Pick up some MIDAS swag and food while you’re here too!
